This little gem recently appeared for sale listed as a Syracuse Chiefs vintage 1983 Team issue baseball cap.
Something just doesn't look right.
It's a snapback cap and the tag is not New Era or Roman Pro.
Snapbacks were used by some teams in the early 80's.
The first difference I noticed is that the on-field model in the picture is a different shade of blue.
This picture clearly shows that the real on-field model had eyelets or air holes on the cap.
Buyer beware!!
