If you are watched MLB on Sunday, May 14, you may have noticed some special uniforms and caps being worn by all MLB teams. This year's version is an all grey cap and pink brim.

I couldn't find any special caps being worn to celebrate Mother's day. When and where did this start?
On May 10, 2014, the Chicago White Sox face off against the Arizona Diamondbacks and wore this cap.
It was part of a "Pink Out" to raise breast cancer awareness in conjunction with the Komen Foundation.
What about Mother's day? How and when did this this start?
The internet tells me it was Ann Jarvis (above).
On May 10, 1908, at Andrews Episcopal Church in Grafton, West Virginia, Jarvis organized a memorial for deceased mothers.

What is New Era doing with the dollars that are created form the uniform sales on Mother's day merchandise?
The Mother's day caps I have found are all made in China or Vietnam.
Notice that the Komen Foundation is not mentioned anymore...
