The Baltimore Orioles host the Toronto Blue Jays in a "Celebrate Maryland Day" theme.
Orioles players will be wearing special caps and jerseys for the occasion.
In a never ending run of promos...I kind of like this one.
The timing was perfect with the 142 running of the Preakess Stakes at Pimlico on the same day.
While Cloud Computing (13-1 odds) won the Preakness, the Orioles defeated the Blue Jays 7-5 in front of a sold out crowd at Camden Yards.
My suggestion for next year..
Incorporate this guy into the promo.
If you have not been to Baltimore, this logo is everywhere.
What is it?
National Bohemian Beer. Which was at one time brewed in Baltimore.
It's almost undrinkable, but the logo is intriguing.
How about this logo on the cap next year?
